Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in 'Lychee'
I am LOVING Barry M Gelly nail polishes at the moment. The varnish is super glossy, stays on ages and true to say, really does give a gel-like finish on the nails. Their colour selection is also awesome and I have particularly been loving 'Lychee' - a really pretty nude and also 'Papaya', a gorgeous coral. At only £3.99, Barry M is my 'of the moment' nail brand. As a little footnote, Essie is FINALLY jumping on the bandwagon too and launching their own gel nail polish in October! I can't wait for the colour range release...
Illamasqua Eyeshadow in 'Succumb'
This month I've been flitting in and out of the Illamasqua Flag Ship Store at the bottom of Carnaby St. Partly, because it is beauty heaven and also because there sale has been absolutely insane!! During my first visit I picked up what has been my favourite eyeshadow this month. This beautiful individual is a gorgeous pinky nude called 'Succumb' and also has a slight shimmer to it. I've been dusting this over areas I want to highlight, particularly the inner corners of my eyes. It has amazing pigmentation and it is not at all difficult to build up to the same colour you see in the pan. Illamasqua now have a gorgeous selection of their powder eyeshadows reduced from £15.50 to just £5! See the colour range, here.
By Terry 'Terribly' Mascara with Intense Growth Booth Serum
About four weeks ago now, I began using this mascara and reviewed it on my blog a little later. After having now given it a full road-test, I can honestly tell you that this is the BEST MASCARA I HAVE EVER USED. At £32 it is a high-end product, but as well as a mascara, the By Terry formula contains a pro-growth intense serum which is out of this world. My lashes are fuller, silkier and have been completely replenished, thanks to this guy. If you're interested, go and read my full review because I'm not quite sure where to begin.. this could easily be my favourite product of the 2013 - so far!
Rimmel Apocalips in 'Luna'
If you saw my review on these at the weekend, you will already know that I'm a little bit obsessed with the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers. I currently own 'Nude Eclipse', 'Luna' and now also 'Celestial' - all of which are the shades recommended for fairer skin. (As I prefer a natural everyday lip look, this is how I chose the colours I wanted to purchase first.) But I think I'm soon going to own the whole collection - they are incredible. They stay on for ages, don't dry your lips out and have incredible pigmentation. Again, read my full review for more details, swatches and 'on the lips' photos if you want to know more. They have had huge success within the blogosphere so far this year and I am sure they will continue to be praised. Please bring out some more colours for us Rimmel!!
Chanel No.5 Talc
Talc in a favourites post? Eh?! This one is a bit of a wildcard guys, but I had to include it as it is just SO PRETTY!! This would look amazing on anyone's vanity or dressing table and it's almost more of an ornament for me than a product! As talc's go, I'm a little 'inexperienced', however I think this one is lovely. It has the beautiful, signature Chanel fragrance and the packaging it just gorgeous. It is certainly one of the cheaper products to go for if you fancy a bit of CHANEL on show. You can purchase, here.
Zara Eau De Toilette Sweet
I picked this up at the counter in Zara for about £2.99, on one of my sale ventures. Now I wish I'd bought more! This is my fragrance of the month and it is... Zara 'Eau De Toilette Sweet'. I've searched for this everywhere online but it has become something of a mystery. If you've smelt it before and really love it too, then you can buy a large bottle here. But I love the roll-on stick as it's perfect to just have in your hand bag as a top up. It smells absolutely delicious, with fruity notes of bergamot, green apple, vanilla and peach.
Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask
At the moment I'm really enjoying pampering my skin with this guy. Liz Earle is an absolutely amazing natural skincare brand and their 'Essentials range' (review) is a staple within skincare regime. The main endeavour of this mask is to replenish and hydrate which is just what we all want on a Sunday evening when our skin is tired after a week of exposure to the elements! Extracts of shea and borage seed oil within the ingredients, help to enhance the skin's natural barrier and also deeply nourish. I leave this on my skin for about 10 minutes, once a week, then rinse using their muslin cloth. Post-treatment, my skin feels fab - so soft and supple and completely refreshed. The rose-scented geranium scent also helps uplift and calm the senses, so it's a perfect pamper, before-bed mask. I'd really recommend it if you're looking for some natural hydration. Available here, for £14.75.
bareMinerals Prime Time Original Primer
During these gorgeous sunny days, this is what has been keeping my make up put. I've only used about 4 different primers in my time and can safely say that this is the one I have got along with the best. I reviewed it in full back in May and have grown to love it even more in this sticky weather. If you read my blog regularly, you'll already know that my skin becomes quite oily in the Summer months so I always wear a primer in the endeavour to stop it sliding away! I'd really like to try the bareMinerals specialised formula for oily skin, so if anyone has used it please let me know how you got on! Or equally, if you know of any other miracle primers, please leave me a comment telling me what products you use!
What have been your favourite products this month?
Hope you've all had a lovely month!
