#GolfWithMonarch

Last week, Monarch Airlines hosted a fantastic event at N1 Golf in Greenwich as a celebration of their increasingly popular, golf-ready European destinations. Unfortunately I was unable to attend, so the lovely Felicity from Flick the Green and kick-ass photographer Alex Georgiades both went along for a wonderful evening of golf, wine and tapas. The GoPro HERO4 Session

The GoPro Hero4 Session is GoPro's smallest camera yet. Unlike the rectangular cameras which we've seen up until now, the Session is a 50% smaller, 35% lighter, and shaped like a cube. It's unbelievably tiny. Indeed, it may not offer many performance gains over its older brothers, but it's versatility arguably makes it a whole lot more fun. The Session is perfect for water sports, so we put it through its paces over the weekend sailing the Dart 18 in Cornwall...

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai

It's been a week since I arrived home from the glorious beaches of Dubai to a very dull and decidedly cooler UK. The grey skies in London weren't quite cutting it so I managed to book a very last minute holiday to the UAE with my family! We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Jumeirah Beach, a resort which offers a marked change from the enormous skyscrapers that house many of the hotels in the city and at 250 rooms, describes itself as 'boutique'. It was total luxury; impeccable service in an absolutely beautiful setting, surrounded by a completely unique culture...

Grilled Vegetable Nibbles

My downfall at this time of year is barbecues. Not only the marinated meats and array of colourful side salads, but actually all of the savoury nibbles that come before the full-on BBQ spread. During this time, we're faced with Doritos, Kettle Chips, breadsticks, and every kind of salty nut you can dream of. It's happy hour for snackers (like myself!) Amaretti Baked Nectarines

This is an adaptation of one of my Mum's amazing dessert recipes. She always makes it with peaches and traditional Italian Amaretti biscuits - they're absolutely gorgeous. So I've decided to adapt it slightly to create a more guilt-free version, which is gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free. The filling is not quite as crunchy as my Mum's traditional biscuit recipe, but it still has that incredible almond flavour that pairs so well with the lovely baked fruit...

The Truth About Almond Milk

Nut milk is a fantastic, dairy free, low-calorie alternative to your standard cows milk. Skincare Routine April 2015

So it's a good while now since I spoke about skincare and my goodness, have things changed. This is going to be a hefty blog post, so please sit yourself down with a cuppa! However, I want to try and string it all together because I wish I had read something coherent, like I hope this is going to be, when I started becoming more aware of what I was putting on my face. I would have saved myself - and my skin - a lot of time, aggro and money. By no means am I any kind of expert and of course this is not definitive, it won't suit everyone. But after doing a lot of research, this is the current structure of my skincare routine and I really cannot sing its praises enough.

Candied Fruit And Nut Raw Chocolate

So if you haven't already indulged in enough of the stuff last Easter weekend, here's some more chocolate to ogle over. But really, this is the good stuff. Raw chocolate is made with three primary ingredients: cacao butter, raw cacao powder and pure maple syrup. It has no refined sugar and is jam packed full of antioxidants, magnesium and loads of b vitamins, so it's even going to give you some real goodness - when eaten in moderation! The recipe is super simple and perfect to satisfy those dreaded 4pm sugar cravings. But most importantly, it tastes so darn good.

Having A Spring Clean

Hey there, snazzy new blog design. What do you think? So after months now *wince* of a pretty bleak void on Beleza By Ems, tonight I've finally relaunched my website.
